Privacy Policy — Flappy Cricket

Effective date: 19 July 2026

Flappy Cricket ("the app") is a mobile game developed by Vivek Sinha ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information is handled when you play the app.

Information we collect

The app does not require you to create an account or sign in. Your settings and personal best scores are stored only on your device and are deleted when you uninstall the app.

Global leaderboard

If you choose to appear on the online leaderboard, we store the display name you enter together with your score, using Google Firebase (Firestore). To keep one leaderboard entry per device we use Firebase Anonymous Authentication, which assigns a random identifier to your device — we do not collect your email, real name, or any login credentials. The display name is optional and entirely chosen by you; please do not enter personal information you do not wish to be public. Leaderboard data is processed by Google under the Firebase Privacy and Security policy. To have your leaderboard entry removed, contact us at the email below.

Advertising (third-party services)

The app shows advertisements served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and process certain data to provide and measure ads, including your device's advertising identifier, IP address, coarse location derived from IP, device information, and ad interaction data. This collection is performed by Google under its own policies:

Where required by law (for example in the EEA/UK), you will be asked for consent before personalised ads are shown, and you can change your choice at any time from within the app. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your device's Google settings.

App permissions

Children

The app is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app's advertising, please contact us and we will work with our ad provider to address it.

Data retention and deletion

App settings and best scores live only on your device and are removed when you uninstall the app. If you submitted a score to the global leaderboard, that entry (your chosen name and score) remains in our Firebase database until you ask us to remove it — email us and we will delete it. For data handled by Google AdMob, refer to Google's policies linked above.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
